Caitlin Kerker Mennen-Bobula
Digital Experience Strategy Consultant
Caitlin brings nearly two decades of experience working with cultural institutions to create visitor experiences supported by robust planning and digital strategy work. With a background in interpretation, project management, and media production she brings a deep knowledge of planning for exhibitions and supporting successful program development. She approaches each project in partnership, working with museum leadership teams to create outcomes that meet a wide range of other goals, including increasing visitation and deepening commitments to community. Caitlin has worked alongside the AK Cultural Planning team as an advisor on digital content for projects including the Trust for Governors Island and American LGBTQ+ Museum.
As a leader at prominent design studios – RAA, Local Projects, Art Processors – she has managed and overseen the development of award winning work, servicing a wide range of complex projects from discovery and strategy, to full service exhibition design, to media design and production for immersive, interactive installations. Past clients included the American Museum of Natural History, Equal Justice Initiative, The Getty, Hyde Park Barracks Museum, IBM, National Museum of Australia, Peabody Essex Museum, Embrace Boston, the USS Midway Museum, and National Park Service.
Caitlin holds an MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU, Graduate School of Arts and Science, where she focused on museum and memory studies, and a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology, School of Photographic Arts and Sciences.
